The new Family Aquatic Center features a zero depth entry, double flume water slide, shade structures and a splash pad. The facility was also designed to allow for expansion in the future.

The Belvidere Park District called upon Burbach Aquatics, Inc. with a unique request. Design a large Splash Pad, an outdoor regulation size hockey rink and a warming house (with changing rooms, concessions and enough room to house the Zamboni). Oh, the place we would like all of this is located on an old recycling pit (Brownfield Site) and situated with-in the 100 year flood plain. BAI was happy to assist the Park District with the development of this stupendous multi-seasonal facility that brings life to Doty Park throughout the year! Be sure to visit this beautiful facility.

Home of Chadron State University, Chadron Public Schools and the Chadron Community Hospital. Burbach Aquatics, Inc. was hired by the City of Chadron for our professional services in 2013. The aging outdoor municipal L-shaped, box style swimming pool had reached the end of it’s useful life and the recent closure of the indoor pool at Chadron State had citizens questioning the future of swimming in Chadron. BAI completed our 3 PHASES of professional service on this regional indoor aquatic center. BAI assisted with a technical evaluation, conceptual development, design development, bidding services, and construction administrative services. This multi-generational facility now serves the community and the surrounding area with aquatic fitness and recreation year round. The addition of the therapy pool has helped numerous physical therapy patients in Northwest Nebraska. The facility also has a walking track, lap lane area, splash pad, eagle tot slide, 1M diving board, meeting room and ADA compliant Natatorium/locker room.

So what do you do when you want to build the new municipal pool next to the high school football and the baseball fields? The City of Norfolk, NE decided to design the bathhouse into a multi-seasonal facility that can house visiting sports teams in it’s locker rooms. This regional aquatic facility has everything a kid could want in a swimming pool, with a large wave pool, a centralized interactive play structure, 2 waterslides, 8 lane competition pool with diving boards, large beach style zero depth entry with spray features, water walk, plenty of shade structures, mechanical building, and multi-purpose ADA bathhouse and concessions.

Newton, IA

This project involved the renovation of the original zero-depth entry. The existing concrete in the zero-depth area was removed and replaced with new concrete, and a multi-play feature was added. Additional upgrades included the installation of a new 3-meter diving board, an aqua zip line, and new shade structures to enhance the overall experience.

This project was a rehabilitation of the original pool with the addition of a zero-depth activity pool with an enclosed flume body slide. The original facility was built in the 1980’s and the City of Correctionville was looking to provide more excitement while extending the life of the facility. The main pool had a pool liner and ADA staircase added. The decking and fencing was also replaced with this project, bringing new life to the facility for many years to come.

The Decorah Municipal Pool is a historic landmark that has received numerous updates in its 80 year life. Burbach Aquatics, Inc. was happy to assist the City of Decorah with some of the more recent updates. Our first project with the City of Decorah comprised of replacing their aging existing waterslide with a new enclosed flume waterslide. The second project involved the replacement of a troublesome dolphin feature with the addition of a viking ship toddler slide.
New Hampton, IA

The New Hampton Municipal Pool is a staple for the community. Burbach Aquatics, Inc. was happy to assist the City of New Hampton to bring new life to their “old” pool with some recent updates. The project comprised of replacing the non-Code compliant wading pool with a new splash pad, the removal of a diving board and installing an awesome large drop slide in the diving area. A new Submarine Ship Toddler waterslide and addition of floatables to the swim area of the main pool completed the renovation to New Hampton’s pool bringing lots of color and new activities for their residents and visitors to enjoy.
